Miami Heat Offseason 2012: Justin Hamilton Signs In Europe

Stay connected for news and updates

The second-round pick of the Miami Heat, Justin Hamilton, will be heading overseas for his first professional season. Hamilton has signed with Cibona Zagreb.

Hamilton suffered a hamstring injury during the offseason that hurt his chances of making the Heat's roster.

A 7-footer from LSU, Hamilton averaged 12.9 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game in his junior season. It was his only season at LSU, as he transferred from Iowa State after playing two seasons there.

He was voted to the all-conference second team in the SEC last season and had already graduated with a degree in sociology from LSU.
