D.J. Humphries has an MCL injury and will miss two weeks.
Humphries, a freshman from Mallard Creek, N.C., is behind Matt Patchan and Xavier Nixon on the depth chart. One of the -- if not the -- top overall offensive line recruits in the country, Humphries signed with Florida in February. He was rated a five-star prospect by Rivals and Scout.
Gainesville.com has said that Humphries was impressive enough in spring that he could push for immediate playing time as a freshman, but the injury might prevent that from happening right away. Alligator Army listed Humphries as one of the freshmen to watch this fall.
Florida opens the season Saturday, Sept. 1 at home against Bowling Green.
