Dolphins QB Controversy: Ryan Tannehill's Job To Lose

Stay connected for news and updates

The Miami Dolphins have not yet decided whether Matt Moore or Ryan Tannehill will be the starting quarterback when the regular season arrives. In the video embedded below, Kevin from The Phinsider discusses the team's quarterback situation and explains why he feels Tannehill has the inside track. Kevin suggests that Tannehill might be a better fit than Moore for the Dolphins offense, and that Tannehill's familiarity with the system -- which is similar to what he ran in college -- may give him the edge.

Through two preseason games, Tannehill is 25-44 for 267 yards with one touchdown and zero interceptions. More is 12-27 for 136 yards with zero touchdowns and one interception.

Miami's third preseason game is scheduled for Aug. 24 against the Atlanta Falcons.
