The Dolphins offensive lineman has been featured prominently on this season's edition of HBO's "Hard Knocks."

Brief Miami Dolphins lineman and "Hard Knocks" star Eric Steinbach is calling it a career after roughly a month with the organization and nine years with the Bengals and Browns:

The former Iowa Hawkeye was brought into Dolphins camp this year thanks to the fact that Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin was his position coach in college. Steinbach, who was drafted 33rd overall by the Bengals, played 125 games from 2003 to 2011, but a back injury kept him from the league last season and he was cut by the Browns. .

Steinbach was featured prominently on the HBO program "Hard Knocks" as he challenged offensive lineman John Jerry throughout camp but struggled to come back from his injuries.
