Marlins Vs. Dodgers Game Preview, TV Info And More

The last-place Miami Marlins are coming off an 11-4 thumping at the hands of the suddenly loaded Los Angeles Dodgers and will send P Josh Johnson in an attempt to even the series Saturday night. The Dodgers counter with Clayton Kershaw and a potential slew of newcomers.

The Dodgers acquired well over $250 million in payroll from the Boston Red Sox early Saturday in the form of veterans Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford and Josh Beckett in exchange for James Loney and a bunch of prospects.

Miami (57-70) could be the first team to see the new-look Dodgers (68-58), who are three games behind the San Francisco Giants in the NL West and 1 1/2 behind the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Wild Card.

Here's the broadcast information and probable starters for Saturday's game:

Date/Time: Saturday, Aug. 25, 9:10 p.m. EST

Venue: Dodger Stadium

TV: Fox Sports Florida

Online streaming: MLB.tv

Probable starters: Josh Johnson (7-10, 3.73 ERA) vs. Clayton Kershaw (11-7, 2.87 ERA)
