Deutsche Bank Championship 2012: Tiger Woods Leads As Friday's Play Winds Down

Stay connected for news and updates

Tiger Woods has jumped out to the top of the leaderboard in Boston as Round 1 begins to wrap up at the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston in nearby Norton, Mass. Woods shot a 64 on Friday, good enough for a 7-under lead and a tie with fellow American Jeff Overton.

However, American Ryan Moore is fast approaching the lead, shooting 6-under through ten holes and posting five birdies on the last six holes of the front nine. There's currently a three-way tie behind Moore, as John Senden and Louis Oosthuizen finished a 5-under, while Korean Seung-Yul Noh is five-under through 10 holes.

Englishmen Ian Poulter and Luke Donald round out the top of the board, as both finished their first round with a 4-under 67.
