The Miami Marlins entered Wednesday evenings game against the New York Mets looking for back to back wins, and did so in blowout fashion beating up on New York 13-0. The Marlins kicked it off early with two home runs, first by Jose Reyes and then followed up by a blast from Giancarlo Stanton to take an early 3-0 lead.
The Marlins got a good five solid innings out of Nate Eovaldi, who gave up just four hits on way to picking up just his third victory. The Mets bats stayed cold even when the Fish went to their bullpen however as the Marlins continued to pour on runs, including another Stanton home run. In total on the way to a 13-0 loss, the Mets gave up four home runs.
