The Florida St. Seminoles moved up two spots in the USA Today Coaches Poll to No. 4 after their dominante 52-0 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Florida State hopped Oklahoma, and with USC losing to Stanford that allowed them to move up two spots. The ACC now has two teams in the top 10 as the Clemson Tigers are ranked No. 9 after three weeks.
The Florida Gators also saw a jump in the poll as they moved up three spots to No. 14 after they defeated Tennessee 37-20 on Saturday night. Being ranked No. 14 makes the gators the fourth highest ranked SEC team. They are trailing the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers who hold down the top two spots, and then the South Carolina Gamecocks are No. 8. Mississippi State ranked at No. 23 gives the SEC five teams ranked in the top 25.
