The Jacksonville Jaguars signed wide receiver Maurice Stovall on Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. To make room for this addition, the Jaguars cut tight end Stephen Spach.

The 6'5 receiver was originally drafted in the seventh round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006. In five seasons with the Buccaneers, Stovall caught 51 passes for 660 yards and three touchdowns. In 2011 with the Detroit Lions, Stovall caught only one pass in 15 games.

Spach was originally signed undrafted out of Fresno State in 2005. In his career, he's played for the Philadelphia Eagles, the New England Patriots, the Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams. His career stats include 22 catches for 137 yards.
