Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush was named AFC offensive player of the week for his performance in Miami's 35-13 victory against the Oakland Raiders last Sunday. Bush ran for 172 yards on 26 carries and two touchdowns, one from 23 yards and the other from 65 yards.

This is the third time in his career that Bush has earned player of the week honors. Bush previously won player of the week honors for his performances against the Buffalo Bills in Week 15 last season. Bush also won player of the week honors once while playing for the New Orleans Saints.
