Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert is expected to start on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, according to Ryan O'Halloran. Gabbert was injured in the second half of the Jaguars' 27-7 loss to the Houston Texans. Despite the injury, he remains on track to start:
It's good, I'm just staying on top of it and managing it and it's getting better. I'm just worried about getting better, getting out on the practice field, getting the reps and being prepared for Sunday
Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey did say that Gabbert could be limited given how he looks early on. If Gabbert has a set back before Sunday, the Jaguars will either promote quarterback John Parker Wilson from the practice squad or re-sign Jordan Palmer.
