Kentucky Vs. Florida: Gators OC Brent Pease Might Try To Hang 50 On Wildcats

With the Florida Gators offense producing over 500 yards in a Week 3 win over Tennessee, expectations are high that the Gators will run roughshod over a 1-2 Kentucky squad this Saturday. Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease might have extra motivation to do just that, following some smack talk from former Wildcat quarterback Jared Lorenzen. Pease coached Lorenzen at Kentucky, and Lorenzen blasted Pease on Twitter after Pease took the Florida job.

"I coached Jared," Pease told the Ocala Gator Club this summer. "Jared is one of those guys that was talking trash when I took this job. So that's good for about two extra launch plays, trying to get to 50 points on those guys when they come to campus."

Kentucky comes to Gainesville off an overtime loss to in-state rival Western Kentucky. The Wildcats gave up 125 rushing yards and three touchdowns to Hilltopper running back Antonio Andrews in that game. The Kentucky defense will likely face a much stiffer test against the Gators.
