Tiger Woods and Justin Rose are tied for the lead at 4-under through the first round of the TOUR Championship at the par-70 East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Ga.

Both Woods and Rose shot 66 on Thursday. Rose got to the low mark of the day with a birdie at the par-3 18th hole. Woods, who had six birdies Thursday, had consecutive birdies at Nos. 15 and 16.

Among players tied for third at 3-under is Matt Kuchar, a Winter Park, Fla., resident. Zach Johnson is tied for seventh at 2-under after shooting 68 in his first round.

Bubba Watson, the 2012 Masters champion and a native of Bagdad, Fla., is among a group tied for 12th at 1-under. FedEx Cup standings leader Rory McIlroy is also at 1-under.
