There is a chance that injured Jaguars cornerback Derek Cox could return to the field and give the team's defense a boost against the AFC South Division rival Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Cox participated in his first full practice Thursday since pulling a hamstring in the first preseason game.
William Middleton, Aaron Ross, Rashean Mathis, and Kevin Rutland have filled in for Cox in his absence. Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey hasn't outlined to the media a plan for Cox, but the cornerback had this to say in the FloridaTimes-Union report:
"It's awesome being back out and loving it. I told my teammates Wednesday it was a pleasure to be out there on the grass with them."
