Lightning Coach Guy Boucher's First Pitch Strike Before Rays Game

If you missed last night's game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Toronto Blue Jays, you missed an incredible feat by Tampa Bay Lightning coach Guy Boucher.

The Rays showed a lot of support to their hockey brethren Friday night according to our Lightning site Raw Charge. Rays manager Joe Maddon wore a Lightning cap and the Rays broadcast team donned Lightning pins, but Boucher's first pitch trumped everything.

Boucher went to the mound with a hockey stick and sent a wrist shot toward the plate. The ball looked like it was going to sail high, but it broke like a 12-6 curve and dropped perfectly into Stephen Vogt's glove for a strike. Vogt putting on a goalie mask and stick made it that much better

There's a great picture on Instagram of Boucher's shot, and Rays Index has a gif of Boucher practicing the shot before the game.

Video of Boucher's pitch/shot after the jump.
