Jaguars Vs. Colts Score Update: Indianapolis Leads 7-3 After One Quarter

Stay connected for news and updates

Despite a strong 14-play opening drive for the Jaguars, a failed attempt at a double reverse and a sack/forced fumble by Robert Mathis ended the drive and forced the Jaguars to settle for a 44-yard field goal from Josh Scobee. A quick response from the Colts gave them a 7-3 lead that they held for the remainder of the quarter.

After appearing to intercept an Andrew Luck pass intended for Austin Collie, a pass interference call on Rashean Mathis kept the Colts' drive alive. A few plays later Luck found T.Y. Hilton for a 40-yard touchdown on blown coverage by Aaron Ross and Chris Prosinski.

Both teams buckled down defensively on the subsequent drives keeping the score at 7-3. The Jaguars begin the second quarter with the ball in their own territory.
