United States' own Brandt Snedeker was able to hold off Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods to win the Tour Championship and $10 million bonus for winning the FedExCup. Snedeker played very well on Sunday, putting up a 2-under-par 68 round of golf.
Snedeker ended up winning the Tour championship with a comfortable three shot victory over Englishman Justin Rose. It was his second win of the year and easily his most lucrative victory.
With the victory, Tennessee's own moved into the top 10 in the world rankings for the first time in his career. It was Snedeker's fourth career victory of his career.
