The Florida A&M Rattlers seek their third straight win on Saturday, when they take on the Southern University Jaguars in the Bank of America Football Classic.
The Florida A&M Rattlers look to run their winning streak to three games on Saturday, when they take on the Southern University Jaguars, in the Bank of America Football Classic. The game will be held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
The Rattlers have bounced back after losses in Week 1 and Week 2, when they lost 17-14 to Tennessee State, and 69-13 to the Oklahoma Sooners. Since then, Florida A&M has defeated Hampton, 44-20, and Delaware State, 24-22, improving to 2-2 on the season and 2-0 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
Florida A&M will hope for another excellent performance from quarterback Damien Fleming, who racked up 399 yards during Saturday's win. Fleming completed 30-of-37 passes, and threw three touchdown passes. Fleming's efforts on Saturday earned him MEAC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
