Miami vs. NC State score: Hurricanes hold 23-14 advantage at the half

The Miami Hurricanes 23-7 first quarter advantage has been whittled down to 23-14 against North Carolina State as the two teams head into halftime.

Wolfpack running back Tony Creecy continued his big day, rushing for his second touchdown of the game in the second quarter to trim the Hurricanes advantage. Creecy also scored on a one-yard catch in the first quarter, and has 96 yards on the ground on 11 rushes. He also has two catches for eight yards.

Hurricanes quarterback Stephen Morris has completed 15 of his 29 throws in the game, for 287 yards and three touchdowns. As a team, Miami had 340 yards of total offense and 12 first downs in the first half.
