The Oklahoma Sooners took care of business against the Florida A&M Rattlers by a score of 69-13 in Norman on Saturday afternoon.
Damien Williams was the star of the show for Oklahoma, rushing for 156 yards on only 10 carries. Perhaps even more impressive, he scored four touchdowns, including one on an 89-yard scamper. Landry Jones was also productive against the Rattlers, throwing for 252 yards on 19-of-28 passing to accompany two touchdowns and an interception.
Florida A&M couldn't get much accomplished on either side of the ball to nobody's surprise. Damien Fleming actually completed 11-of-21 attempts but could only muster 133 yards while tossing a touchdown and pick. One player who did shine in the spotlight was Travis Harvey, who hauled in four receptions for 118 yards including a 75-yard touchdown. The rushing game was non-existent in support of Fleming. On 28 carries, the Rattlers only gained 61 yards for a tiny average of 2.2 yards per attempt.
