The NBA recognized LeBron James by awarding the Miami Heat forward with the KIA NBA Player of the Month award for his incredible individual performance that led the Heat to a 10-5 December.
With team success and sensational individual numbers, LeBron James' performance in the month of December has been recognized by the NBA, as the forward earned the Kia NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month, the NBA announced on Wednesday.
The Miami Heat went 10-5 in the month of December thanks to James' incredible individual performance. He averaged 27.5 points on 55.5 percent shooting from the floor, but he filled up the rest of the stat sheet as well, adding 8.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game.
Bringing home the conference Player of the Month award isn't something new for James, who also won the award in November behind similar success. Amazingly, the superstar upped his performance in the month of December in points, assists and efficiency.
James shares the award with point guard Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers, who won the Kia NBA Western Conference Player of the Month award for December.
