Jessie Williams arrived in Alabama via Australia.

Jessie Williams has displayed incredible toughness for Alabama this season, and will hope to lead the Crimson Tide to their second consecutive national championship when they play Notre Dame on Monday.

Edward Aschoff of ESPN.com describes Williams' toughness with the punishment he takes at the nose tackle position, the pain he's endured in order to get his many body tattoos and the flight he has to take to get home to Brisbane, Australia.

Williams suffered a knee injury in the third quarter of the SEC Championship, but returned later in the game to help direct Eddie Lacy for a 1-yard touchdown and record three tackles on the defensive side of the ball.

Williams told Aschoff that "trying to get back on the field was the only thing" on his mind after he went out with the injury. He hopes that his grit and toughness will lead to a win in the team's final game of the season against Notre Dame.
