Ryan Michaels hails from Coral Springs, Florida, where he grew up a diehard Florida (erm, Miami) Marlins, Miami Dolphins, and Florida Gators fan. At the age of nine, Ryan wrote then-Marlins GM Dave Dombrowski a letter that made suggestions on how to improve attendance. He received a response a couple of weeks later and not only still swears that it really was Dave Dombrowski who wrote him back, but also saved the letter until he moved away to college.
After graduating from high school, where he lettered in…debate, Ryan fulfilled his dream of attending the University of Florida, where he majored in Management. While in school, the Gators won two national championships in both basketball and football. Ryan had absolutely nothing to do with these achievements.
Since he can’t run a 4.4 40-yard dash or hit a baseball 400 feet, Ryan writes about people who can. He hopes to inform and entertain fans of his teams with articles, opinions, and random thoughts.
A controversial article doubting LeBron James in the wake of his historic Game 6 performance was published this morning and not many people were happy about it. The author would like a few more words with you.
