The odd-makers have UCF as a 10.5 favorite tonight as they go up against the Houston Cougars. The Cougars are led in scoring by athletic forward Jonathan Simmons and TaShawn Thomas, who are averaging 15 and 11 points apiece this season. Last season, Kirk Van Slyke was a major factor in Houston’s five point win at home over the Knights hitting three early 3-point shots and scoring a season high 17 points on 7 of 9 shooting.

UCF comes into this game as winners of eight of their last nine games while Houston comes in off a 20 point loss to UTEP in their first conference road game of the season. Houston had won their previous six games before that contest and are now playing back to back road games on the extreme geographic edges of the conference.
