Kansas St. and Oregon in control of top BCS spots, Florida remains 6th after narrow win over Louisiana-Lafayette.
For the first time in recent memory, an SEC team isn't in the top two of the BCS standings. The Kansas State Wildcats and Oregon Ducks took hold of the top two spots in the standings Sunday after Texas A&M upset Alabama 28-24 Saturday.
Kansas State was ranked No. 1 while Oregon clocks in at No. 2. Unbeaten Notre Dame sits 3rd, followed by the Crimson Tide and Georgia. The Aggies' victory over set up a scenario where the BCS title game could be without an SEC team for the first time in seven years.
The Florida Gators remain in 6th place after coming from behind in the 4th quarter to beat Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns 27-20. LSU, Texas A&M, South Carolina and Florida St. rounded out the top ten.
