The Gators finished the season at 11-1, but will not make it into either the SEC or BCS Championship games.
The Georgia Bulldogs have known for a few weeks that they would make a second straight appearance in the SEC Championship Game. This past Saturday, the Alabama Crimson Tide booked their ticket to Atlanta by beating Auburn.
The Florida Gators finished the year at 7-1, but their only loss was to Georgia, meaning they lost the tiebreaker in the SEC East. They still had an outside shot of making it to the BCS title game in a similar fashion to what Alabama did last year, but Notre Dame's win over USC kept them on the outside looking in.
Here are the final regular season SEC standings.
