College basketball scores: Florida improves to 9-2, South Florida edges George Mason

Florida bounced back from a loss to Kansas State by beating Air Force on Saturday.

The Florida Gators bounced back from a six-point loss to Kansas State by defeating Air Force, 78-61, on Saturday.

Erik Murphy led the Gators with 21 points and seven rebounds on 8-of-10 shooting from the field. The win improved Florida to 2-2 in its last four games and 9-2 overall.

South Florida 61, George Mason 57
South Florida shot just 38.8 percent from the floor and 59.3 percent (16-of-27) from the free throw line, but was able to hold on to defeat George Mason by four points, 61-57, on Saturday. Jawanza Poland led the Bulls with 16 points and eight rebounds.

Florida State 82, Tulsa 63
Florida State won its fourth game in a row by defeating Tulsa, 82-63, on Saturday. Terrance Shannon had a double-double off the bench with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Seminoles.

Middle Tennessee 69, Florida International 52
Florida International shot just 38.8 percent from the floor and managed just nine assists in a 17-point loss to Middle Tennessee on Saturday.

Louisiana-Monroe 65, Florida Atlantic 64
