Florida Gators Injuries: Jeremy Brown, Dominique Easley Updates

On Monday afternoon, Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp addressed some of his team's injuries heading into its 2012 Gator Bowl matchup with the Ohio St. Buckeyes, reports Antonya English of the Tampa Bay Times.

Cornerback Jeremy Brown "may have to undergo surgery" on the injured knee which kept him off the field for the entire 2011 campaign. In addition, defensive tackle Dominique Easley, who tore his ACL against the Florida St. Seminoles on Nov. 26, will miss spring practice but ought to be healthy enough to participate in summer conditioning workouts.

Easley, a five-star prospect out of Curtis High School in New York, tallied 37 tackles (17 solo), 7.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in 2011, his sophomore campaign.

Kickoff for the 2012 Gator Bowl is set for 1 Eastern on Jan. 2, 2012. Check SBNation.com for the complete Bowl Schedule 2011-2012 schedule.
