The SEC released its 2012 football schedule Wednesday, revealing the Gators will visit the Aggies in Texas A&M's first conference game.

The 2012 SEC football schedule was released Wednesday, making clear the dates and times the Florida Gators will do battle against foes from the revamped conference.

The Gators open conference play on Sept. 8 with a visit to College Station, TX to take on the Texas A&M Aggies in what will be the first SEC game played at Kyle Stadium. Last September, the SEC announced it had accepted Texas A&M's application to join the conference.

Other highlights on Florida's schedule include a home game against the defending SEC champion LSU Tigers (Oct. 6); the annual Florida/Georgia Bulldogs game in Jacksonville (Oct. 27); and a home matchup against the Missouri Tigers, another new SEC member (Nov. 3).

Here is Florida's complete SEC schedule for 2012:

Sept. 8: at Texas A&M Aggies
Sept. 15: at Tennessee Volunteers
Sept. 22: vs. Kentucky Wildcats
Oct. 6: vs. LSU Tigers
Oct. 13: at Vanderbilt Commodores
Oct. 20: vs. South Carolina Gamecocks
Oct. 27: vs. Georgia Bulldogs (Jacksonville, FL)
Nov. 3: vs. Missouri Tigers
