The Florida Gators look to recover after two straight losses in the SEC. Can they do it against an Alabama team with its two top scorers suspended.
After two straight losses to Kentucky and Tennessee, the Florida Gators look to get back to their winning ways against the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa Tuesday night. It won't be easy for the Gators as they still have lingering injury issues to a pair of their top reserves.
Forward Will Yeguete is still recovering from a concussion sustained in the Gators last game against Tennessee. Guard Mike Rosario, who averages 7.9 points per game, will miss his fifth straight game. For the Crimson Tide, their two top scorers, forwards JaMychal Green and Tony Mitchell are suspended for this game, taking away a combined 27.2 points and 14.2 rebounds per game.
Despite not having those two, Crimson Tide guards Trevor Releford and Andrew Steele will likely play tonight according to coach Anthony Grant. Those players will hope to continue success at Coleman Coliseum where the Tide has won 10 of their last 12 games, and have surrendered a mere 56.9 points per game at home.
The game will tip off at 7 p.m. with television coverage on ESPN, and streaming online on ESPN3.com.
