The Florida Gators will try to avoid the same fate that hit the Missouri Tigers in the second round of the NCAA Tournament as they take on the Norfolk State Spartans.
The Florida Gators played a tough half against the Virginia Cavaliers in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, but found their shot in the second half and pulled away to a dominant victory to move into the Sweet Sixteen. The Gators got a surprise day from Casey Prather, who averages 1.5 points per game, as Prather led the Gators in scoring with 14 points on the night.
Norfolk State on the other hand pulled the massive upset against the Missouri Tigers. The Spartans played one of those tough games where they held a lead and kept it close with Mizzou, but you just felt like the Tigers would finally get things right and take the lead late to win the game. That never occurred however, as Kyle O'Quinn and the Spartans hung tough to pull the upset.
