March Madness Bracket 2012: Kansas, Kentucky Advance To Final 4

The University of Florida was knocked out of the 2012 NCAA Tournament on Saturday, but while you were still mourning that loss, the Final Four was set with two more Elite Eight games on Sunday.

The first game of the day was kind of boring actually because the University of Kentucky was so good that their game against Baylor wasn't ever in doubt. They had more than double Baylor's points at various times in the first half, and the final score doesn't indicate how "over" this game was right from the get go. When it was all said and done, Kentucky only won 82-70, but it wasn't even that close. They'll face in-state rival Louisville in the Final Four.

The second game of the day was far more competitive. North Carolina was without starting point guard Kendall marshall as they took on No. 2 seed Kansas, and their lack of chemistry on offense was evident in their 80-67 loss. Marshall's absence might have been the difference in this game, as North Carolina never really seemed to click. The Jayhawks will face Ohio St. in the Final Four.

Both match ups are-matches of former games, won by Kentucky and Kansas respectively.
