The LSU Tigers and Florida Gators will meet on Saturday in a critical SEC showdown.
The Florida Gators and LSU Tigers are set to meet up in a SEC clash on Oct. 6 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
The contest will be shown on CBS as the conference's game of the week. Both squads are undefeated and looking to make a statement in the biggest test to date for either side. No. 11 Florida is coming off of a 37-0 win over the Kentucky Wildcats, in which the Gators only allowed 219 yards of offense.
As for Les Miles' team, third-ranked LSU barely escaped the grasp of the Auburn Tigers in a hotly-contested affair. Despite out-gaining Auburn by almost a 2-to-1 margin, LSU couldn't pull away, finally winning 12-10 on a second half field goal.
After Florida gets through with the Tigers, they'll face the Vanderbilt Commodores followed by the two top teams in the No. 6 South Carolina Gamecocks and No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs.
