NC State Vs. Florida State Final: Noles Defense Dominates,

The fourth quarter went more of the way as the other three quarters, especially for NC State. The Noles offense took it's foot off the gas and began to run clock, but the Wolfpack was still trying to get on the scoreboard. On another promising drive from quarterback Mike Glennon, it was once again squashed by a turnover. Glennon dropped back to pass under heavy duress and had the ball tipped in the air at the line, only to have the ball picked off.

The Noles turned the drive into points, with Dustin Hopkins kicking another field goal to push the Noles lead to 27-0. After another three-and-out by NC State, the Noles decided to add some more points as quarterback E.J. Manuel hit receiver Greg Dent for 37 yards down the sideline then hit Dent again for a 26-yard touchdown to go up 34-0.

The fourth quarter continued more of the same as the Wolfpack struggled to do much of anything offensively, finishing with under 200 yards of total offense. Quarterback Mike Glennon finished with just 19 of 35 for 130 yards and two interceptions. NC State was also held to just 38 rushing yards as the Noles shut out the Wolfpack.

E.J. Manuel had one of his best days of the 2011 season, throwing for 321 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Sophomore Greg Dent led the way receiving with 3 receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown.
