A player signing that comes as a pleasant surprise this morning is Colin Blake, a 6'3" cornerback (yes, 6'3") that decommitted from Texas A&M a few weeks ago that only strengthens FSU linebacker class of 2012. The four star recruit was deciding between the Seminoles, Oklahoma and TCU.

No. 1 Tracy Howard was considering Florida State, Florida and Miami. He visited the U last week and it was no surprise that he chose to take his talents to South Beach. Scholarships are thin, so losing out on Howard is a blessing in disguise. I'm not sure Florida State will have enough scholarships as is.
