The Florida State Seminoles are trying to win their seventh straight ACC game of the season as they welcome in the Virginia Cavaliers. Both teams have been hot recently, but the Noles defense was able to suffocate the Cavs offense in the first half of the game to take a one point 23-22 lead into halftime. Mike Scott was able to pick up 12 points for the Cavs, but no one else on Virginia was able to pick up more than five points.
For the Seminoles, Xavier Gibson leads the way with just six points in the typical Noles grind out it game plan. The Noles haven't taken but three three-point shots, but they've hit on two of them so far. On the other hand, the Cavs have taken eight shots from three-point land but they've only sank as many as the Noles have.
