The Florida State Seminoles moved into first place in the ACC with their seventh straight ACC win, 58-55 over the Virginia Cavaliers.

Virginia Vs. Florida State Final Score: Noles Hang On To Win Seventh Straight, 58-55

The Florida State Seminoles held a one point lead at halftime over the Virginia Cavaliers as the Noles tried to pick up their seventh straight ACC game in a row. Both teams struggled to score points in the first half, especially the Cavs shooting from three-point range but both teams were able to put up points in the second half. The Seminoles in fact took a 14-point lead at one point in the second half and nearly blew the lead. The Noles held on however and picked up the 58-55 win to move to 7-1 in the ACC and hold on to first place.

Okara White lead the Seminoles in scoring with 13 points off the bench and also picked up 5 rebounds. In the loss, Virginia had a pair of players score 16 points in Mike Scott and Joe Harris with Scott adding 11 rebounds for the double-double. Guard Malcolm Brogdon also picked up 10 points off the bench for the Cavs.

Virginia Vs. Florida State Score Update: Noles Hold Slight 23-22 Lead At Halftime

The Florida State Seminoles are trying to win their seventh straight ACC game of the season as they welcome in the Virginia Cavaliers. Both teams have been hot recently, but the Noles defense was able to suffocate the Cavs offense in the first half of the game to take a one point 23-22 lead into halftime. Mike Scott was able to pick up 12 points for the Cavs, but no one else on Virginia was able to pick up more than five points.

For the Seminoles, Xavier Gibson leads the way with just six points in the typical Noles grind out it game plan. The Noles haven't taken but three three-point shots, but they've hit on two of them so far. On the other hand, the Cavs have taken eight shots from three-point land but they've only sank as many as the Noles have.
