The Florida State Seminoles blew an early first half lead against Boston College to go down 64-60 and have their winning streak snapped.
The Florida State Seminoles are atop the ACC with a 7-1 record and at one point led the Boston College Eagles 23-10 managed to not only let Boston College back in the game, but surrendered the lead at halftime. BC guard Jordan Daniels led the way picking up 12 points in the first half, hitting on three of his four three-point shot attempts.
Boston College battled all the way back from being down 13 points to take a 34-33 lead into the half. Florida State has just hit on one three point shot so far in the game and if they want to get back to what they were doing to hold a 13 point lead, they'll need to start sinking some shots and get back to playing defense.

The No. 15 ranked Florida State Seminoles will trave to Chestnut Hill as they take on the Boston College Eagles and try to hold on to first place in the ACC. The Seminoles will also be trying to win their eighth game in a row for the first time in five seasons.
The Eagles on the other hand will try to avoid dropping their seventh straight game of the season, as they haven't won a game since the Jan. 14 match up with Virginia Tech. The two teams are on the opposite ends of the ACC standings, and while Florida State would like to keep it that way while Boston College will be looking to be salvaging something for the season.

The Florida State University Men's Basketball team (16-6, 7-1) travels to Boston College (7-16, 2-7) tonight for an ACC matchup. The Seminoles are coming off of their school-best 7th straight conference win over then 16th ranked Virginia Cavaliers. The Boston College Eagles are coming off of a loss against Georgia Tech.
Every ACC win from here on out is a historic win for the Seminoles basketball program as they look to improve on their best ACC regular season in school history. Florida State already holds wins and tie breakers over North Carolina and Duke and their only conference blemish was a puzzling 20-point loss against the Clemson Tigers. With Duke already having their second ACC loss on Sunday against Miami, FSU could sit alone in first place in the ACC standings if Duke beats UNC when they play in Chapel Hill tonight. They need this, and, of course, their own win tonight against the Eagles.
Florida State's defense has been consistently elite over the past couple of years of Leonard Hamilton's tenure in Tallahassee. Now, the Seminoles offense is finally following suit and we're seeing the results from that. We're seeing fewer turnovers, which comes with more familiarity between the Seminoles, and a better 3-point percentage. The Noles lead the ACC in 3-point shooting percentage in conference, led by Michael Snaer bringing his 3-point percentage up to 41.0 percent.
The players to watch for the Boston College Eagles are Matt Humphrey (team leading 10.1 ppg), Ryan Anderson (6.8 rpg), and Jordan Daniels (2.3 apg). The Eagles have the worst offense in the ACC, averaging 59.3 ppg.
The player I'm interested in watching on the Seminoles is Okaro White. Okaro is coming off one of his best games in a Florida State uniform with 13 points and 5 rebounds. How will Okaro White perform following this performance?
This game tips at 7PM EST and will be airing on ESPN3.
Prediction: FSU 70 - BC 53

Florida State Vs. Boston College Final Score: Noles Winning Streak Ends
The Florida State Seminoles at one point in the first half were up by 13 points over the Boston College Eagles, but somehow found themselves for 34-33 at halftime. The Noles continued to struggle to regain the lead in the second half as Michael Snaer hit on just one of his seven three-point shot attempts, but did lead the Noles in scoring with 16 points.
Despite out rebounding Boston College by double digits, Florida State just couldn't get enough going on offense and turned the ball over 14 times. Jordan Daniels led the way for Boston College, picking up 19 points and 5 assists while Matt Humphrey added 15 points. Ryan Anderson also added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the Eagles, who snapped a seven-game losing streak.
