The Florida State Seminoles take on Cincinnati in the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday for the chance to move on to the Sweet Sixteen.
The Florida State Seminoles survived a scare against St. Bonaventure earlier in the week, getting away with a 66-63 victory to move on to the third round. On Sunday evening, the Noles will take on the Cincinnati Bearcats for the right to move on to the Sweet 16 round of play beginning on Thursday. Florida State will look for another big game from Bernard James, who had a career day in the bid to stave off the Bonnies.
The Bearcats on the other hand jumped out to a massive lead against the Texas Longhorns in the second round of the Tournament, but despite letting Texas back into it, cruised to a 65-59 victory. Cincinnati has knocked off some top teams this season, including the likes of Syracuse, Georgetown, and Marquette. They'll have to deal with the Noles tough defense however and choose their shots wisely.
