2012 NCAA Tournament, Cincinnati Vs. Florida State Score Update: Seminoles Lead 26-25 In Sloppy First Half

The Florida State Seminoles started the game against the Cincinnati Bearcats jumping out to an 8-3 lead, as the size advantage for FSU was clearly visible. Michael Snaer, who got in early foul trouble and was a non-factor for the Seminoles on Friday started out by sinking his first two three-point shots. In typical Noles fashion however, their offense went cold for a near five-minute stretch as the Bearcats took the lead.

The Noles were able to retake the lead late before halftime however, taking a 26-25 lead into halftime. The Noles lead despite a sloppy first half, including giving up six points on balls stolen right after FSU secured a defensive rebound. The Seminoles shot 50 percent from the three-point line in the first half, with the Bearcats hitting on only 28.6 percent. If Florida State can stop with the mental errors turning the ball over, they should be able to pull away from Cincinnati.
