Florida State's Leonard Hamilton Named ACC Coach Of The Year

In a year that saw Florida State go 21-9 and 12-4 in the conference, head coach Leonard Hamilton has been justly rewarded by being named ACC coach of the year. This is Hamilton's second coach of the year honor in the ACC, having won the honor previously in 2009. Hamilton also won a pair of Big East coach of the year honors when coaching Miami in 1995 and 1996.

He won the award by a single vote over Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski. Florida State begins their ACC tournament on Friday when they face the winner of Thursday's game between Miami and Georgia Tech.
