Montravius Adams To Visit Florida State For Clemson Game

Stay connected for news and updates

Out of Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County High, Montravius Adams is widely considered the best defensive tackle recruits in the country. He shared his thoughts in this recent video interview (summary follows for those unable to view).

Adams spoke about his disappointment in recently having to cancel his visit to Michigan State due to his mother being unable to attend. He thinks he will reschedule the visit to East Lansing.

Adams indicated that he is being recruited hard by Auburn commitments Reuben Foster, Dee Liner and Carl Lawson. He expects to visit Auburn when the Tigers host Alabama later in the season. Auburn is seen as a strong contender for Adams.

Speaking of Tigers, Adams recently missed a trip to Clemson to take in the Ball State game, but says that he does plan to trip to South Carolina to see Clemson host Maryland. Clemson is considered one of Adams' top schools.

This weekend, however, Adams will take in Clemson in a different setting: Tallahassee, as the Tigers take on Florida State. FSU is also recruiting Adams, and Adams has some level of interest in the school. The visit will be an unofficial.

As far as official visits, Adams knows that LSU, Oregon and USC will be three of his five, because they're further away from his Georgia home than schools such as Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Alabama and Florida State.
