FSU Running Game Will Be A Factor Vs. Clemson

Ahead of their big game against the Clemson Tigers, the Florida St. Seminoles are focused on running the ball. The Seminoles have been prolific on the ground through their first three games, averaging 279 yards per game and racking up 15 rushing touchdowns. The level of competition has been very low, but the Seminoles are confident they can keep it up, according to Corey Clark of the Tallahassee Democrat.

"It’s very important," [sophomore guard Tre'] Jackson said [regarding running the ball vs. Clemson]. "The big thing is to keep our defense off the field."

Jackson is right, in that it's much easier to deal with the high powered Clemson offense when they're not on the field. At their disposal, Florida State has two running backs with over 200 yards on the season in Chris Thompson, James Wilder Jr., and a third with over 100 for the year in Devonta Freeman.
