2012 ACC Football Standings: Florida State Bounds Out To Early Lead In Atlantic Division

Florida State and Miami are your early leaders in the ACC.

The Florida State Seminoles' victory over the Clemson Tigers proved more than just a boost for their rankings, as it pushed the Seminoles to a quick 2-0 start in the ACC's Atlantic Division, one game ahead of the Wake Forest Deamon Deacons in the early weeks of the season.

Already holding the tiebreaker with the Deamon Deacons, the Seminoles lead a division that still has two teams yet to play a conference game, and two teams with a conference loss already to their name, Clemson included.

In the Coastal Division, the Miami Hurricanes are off to a fast start, piling up a 2-0 conference record in the season's early going. The Virginia Tech Hokies (1-0) are on the Hurricanes' tail should they falter. The Duke Blue Devils are the only team in the division to not have played a conference game.
