After a disappointing home loss in its opener, Florida State wins for the first time this season.
After losing their season opener to South Alabama, the Florida State Seminoles rebounded in a big way, defeating Buffalo, 95-68.
The Seminoles had what might turn out to be their best shooting night of the season. Florida State shot 59.6 percent from the floor and 55.6 percent from beyond the arc.
Leading the way in scoring for Florida State was Michael Snaer. After scoring just three points in the first half, Snaer finished with 19 for the game.
Okaro White finished with 13 points in the win and was perfect from the field.
The Seminoles' defense was at its best on Monday, as well. They forced 25 turnovers and had 12 steals. The Bulls scored just 30 points in the first half.
Florida State is now off until Friday, when they will play the BYU Cougars. Buffalo will try to get its first win of the year on Thursday, against Evansville.
