The Seminoles offense is preparing for James Gayle, a pass rusher that head coach Jimbo Fisher says stands out on film.

The Florida St. Seminoles have their eyes on Virginia Tech Hokies defensive end James Gayle, reports Tallahassee.com. The junior has four sacks on the season, tying him for No. 14 in the ACC.

The 6'4, 269-pound pass rusher was called "disruptive" by Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher, who said he stands out on film. Gayle has 30 total tackles in his nine games, including 7.5 tackles for a loss, totaling 32 yards.

Florida St. has allowed 13 sacks this season, placing them 36th in the FBS. The Virginia Tech pass rush is squarely in the middle of the standings, tied for 58th with 18 sacks.

The Seminoles have only one loss on the season, a 17-16 road upset against North Carolina State. That game saw E.J. Manuel sacked four times. They also gave up four in their win over Miami, and they were sacked six times in the season-opening 69-3 rout of Murray St.
