Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

The Seminoles will be on upset alert Thursday.

Florida State might be in the driver's seat in the ACC Atlantic division, but it will be on upset alert on Thursday night. The Seminoles will take the trip to Blacksburg to play an underachieving but talented Virginia Tech team.

The Seminoles' lone blemish this season has been a loss to North Carolina State. Since that defeat, Florida State has won three straight games, scoring at least 33 points in each.

While Virginia Tech has won just four games this season, all four wins have come at home. Tech has also not lost a home game to the Seminoles since 2005.

If Florida State wins its final two games, the team will head to the ACC title game, but there is very little wiggle room as Clemson has the same conference record.

Game time: 7:30 p.m.

TV schedule: ESPN

Odds: Florida State is favored by 14 points (according to OddsShark)
