Competition at the home of the PGA begins Thursday, with the world's No. 1 and No. 2 players -- Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, who finished No. 1 and No. 2 at this same event last year -- teeing off in the 2013 Honda Classic.

Woods shot an 8-under on the final day of play last year on the Champions Course at the PGA National Golf Club, but still came up short of McIlroy. Although the Northern Irish youngster still holds the top spot, Woods is the only one of the two with a tournament win on the fledgling 2013 season, having won last month at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Both Woods and McIlroy are paired with former World No. 1's: McIlroy tees off alongside Ernie Els, while Woods is in probably the best threesome of the tourney, playing with Dustin Johnson and Martin Kaymer.

Action will be broadcast from Palm Beach Gardens on the Golf Channel from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with more coverage from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
