The Jaguars' all-time leader in tackles returned to practice Monday.
On Monday, for the first time this season, Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Daryl Smith practiced, according to the Florida Times-Union's Ryan O'Halloran:
#Jaguars practice -- no Lowery/Robinson. Landry on bike. ... Daryl Smith participating in LB drills (no pads). His first prax work of yr.

The offical return of Smith, who has been battling a groin injury all season, may happen this Sunday when the Jaguars travel to play the Oakland Raiders.
Smith's return would bolster one of the worst defenses in the league, but SB Nation's Big Cat Country said that's "kind of a no-brainer that the infusion of the franchise's all-time leader in tackles ... will help the team."
Safety Dwight Lowery will not play in Sunday's game against the Raiders. Lowery, who has an ankle injury, is expected to miss 2-3 weeks. The Jaguars signed veteran safety Chris Harris on Monday to help bolster the depth chart.
