Lions vs. Jaguars score update: Interceptions spoil opportunity, Detroit still up 21-0

While the Jaguars finally found some offensive success in the third quarter as Blaine Gabbert and Rashad Jennings led the team on a methodical drive deep into Lions territory, an interception ended the drive and the quarter ended without a score.

After the Jaguars started with some decent plays on the opening possession of the half, they turned the ball over as a deep ball intended for Justin Blackmon was wrestled away and intercepted by Erik Coleman. With the Lions turning to a conservative game plan, the Jaguars were able to stop them from threatening to add to their lead and forced a punt instead.

That didn't turn into points, though, as the Jaguars drove the ball deep into Lions territory but eventually turned it over with a second interception of the quarter from Gabbert. While the first interception was to blame on both Gabbert and Blackmon, the second was entirely on Jennings, as the pass deflected off the hands of the second-year running back.
